I talked to my doctor and she said I should switch to the Contour and as long as my numbers were less than 95 with it I wouldn't need insulin. It could be a fluke with my One Touch testing strips, but I know there other negative reviews out there about the One Touch. I know glucose meters are not 100% accurate and can be within 20% of the actual number, but the Contour readings meant I didn't need nighttime insulin and the One Touch did. The next few days I did an experiment and tested my 1-hr post meal readings with each glucose meter and lo and behold my numbers were always lower with the Contour One.
